In the UK, the statistics tell a disheartening story: a persistent racial pay gap, a stark lack of representation in leadership, and young people making future-defining choices without seeing enough role models who look like them. We saw this not just as data, but as a collective loss of potential — for individuals, for industries, and for our communities.
Black Talent Development CIC was founded not from a place of charity, but from a belief in justice, equity, and sheer economic sense. We are a team of professionals, advocates, and community builders who asked a different question: what if we built a dedicated bridge?
Our answer is a Community Interest Company. This means our legal commitment is to the community, not to shareholders. Every resource, every effort, is locked into our mission.

Sam Adebayo is a Co-Founder and Director of Black Talent Development CIC, bringing expertise in community development and a passion for creating equitable career pathways for Black talent across the UK.

Oluwakemi Oni is the Co-Founder and Director of Black Talent Development CIC. As a Professional Scrum Master and Mass Communication graduate, her true passion lies in channelling those skills to create tangible social impact. She has led initiatives where principles like innovation, adaptability, and team empowerment are used not just to build products, but to build more inclusive communities and equitable systems. She leads the CIC with a focus on creating measurable change: building robust talent pipelines for employers, improving socio-economic outcomes for participants, and delivering a tangible return on social investment.

Ayobami is a seasoned Solution Architect, Product owner and a Serial entrepreneur , he is recognized for developing innovative product visions and executing customer-centric strategies across various industries Public Sector, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing to name a few . His strength in cross-functional leadership is matched by a proven ability to utilize cutting edge technologies and data-driven decision-making to enhance products, increase user engagement, and improve overall business value.
